We had our Ayyam-i-ha kids party today. It was full of games, crafts, and treats.
We finished it off with swimming at the local pool!
Here is my Ayyam-i-ha banner.
The kids strung prayer beads
Circe (a friend and another Baha'i mom) made a "Kingdoms of God" scavengar hunt. She made bags with a description of each of the kingdoms (animal, mineral, vegetable, and human) They hunted for the hidden items that represent the different kingdoms. The kids had a blast hunting for shells, bottles of sand, pictures of diferent animals, and cute little wire people!
I also indulged my obsession with Freezer Paper Stencils and made each child a Baha'i bag to add to the kids gift bags. I found these bags at Dharma Trading Co.
I dyed the bags with RIT Dye and then used this Bahai Star to make my freezer paper stencil.
All in all it was a great day! I am so grateful for our Baha'i Community and what it brings to my family!
These friends...who hold the Universal Principals of Unity, Truth, and Justice.
The lessons that I learn from and with these people are unique and huge ...
I appreciate them all for it.
Happy Ayyam-iHa!
